It was bound to happen

Just been outside to take this picture, 8 pm.
There are two big fires out of control on the Port Hills that are above our valley and for kilometres along the hills.
The wind is blowing the smoke our way but we are out of danger from the flames.

The hills are so dry, as it is in many parts of NZ at the moment. Fires are a constant worry.

Hopefully these ones will not cause any serious damage .
