chega junto

we had an amazing time helping host the chega junto food fair. chega junto provides an opportunity for refugees and immigrants to sell food and establish businesses in rio, to make them feel welcome here. saturday was a trial event at christ church rio. the sun shone and we reckon we had about 1000 people through the gates, almost all the sellers sold out of food a few hours before the end of the event, and there was an amazing positive atmosphere. photo courtesy sasha.
