Nile Two Step

A gratifying and frustrating day in equal measures. Managed to get some work off that involved writing (edited client speeches about their core essence) and also got prompt feedback that the 2 minute talking head video script I wrote and sent yesterday to another client was inspiring and would do the job nicely (it took a little longer than two minutes to write!). Plus successful coaching calls into Sitges in Spain and São Paulo, Brazil AND getting the porter up to help me rearrange half the furniture that interim 'tenants' had moved to reduce bumping into the large low glass-topped coffee table. The place looks more like the gracious living space of old rather than a second hand furniture sales room.

The frustrating pieces were a cold café with a waiter who forgot to place the order, a broken down printer, laundry not ready on time, a new-to-us (at least for the main shop) supermarket (ours having been either closed down or shut for reform) with a tight three level layout that requires karting skills rather than F1 ones to navigate with a trolley.

I've now crossed town in rush hour traffic to get new cartridges to coax the printer into action so that Dd can use it this evening. Problem is the ink shop is right next to our fav Indian restaurant....how will the evening turn out!?
