Exciting Adventure - Day 25

Left Auckland - travelled 218 miles mainly on the Twin Coast Discovery Road - now in Paihai - Bay Of Islands

Have seen the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea - stunning scenery - which included tracts of farmland - isolated homesteads - and one street towns

Stopped at Waipoua Kauri Forest Reserve - to see a giant Kauri tree - called Tane Manuta - reputedly nearly 2000 yo

Whilst there went in the search for a kiwi bird - didn't find one - but did find the lesser spotted tourist wearing a sun hat - and his mates
