Showering In The Dark

As an encore to yesterday's kitchen debacle*, the lights went in both bathrooms and we couldn't fix them.  That meant when I got up at VeryEarly O' Clock, it was still dark and I had to have my shower in the dark.  Something I've never done before.

On the way home I popped into Karstadt (similar to John Lewis) and spotted that they had an offer on for various types of Sparkles.  I'm fond of a bottle of bubbles, so I bought some.

Another lovely day weather-wise here.  I had both windows in the office open and it was still over 26°C.

And in unsurprising Customer Service News, the customer services people who are meant to be telling us when we can expect our kitchen to be finished didn't phone.  "Customer Service" can be translated into German as "Es ist mir scheiß egal".

*in German "das Küchendebakel" - the umlaut is important, "ein Kuchendebakel" would be "a cake debacle"
