And the season is...?

Another sunny day with temperatures around 7°C. We headed off to the beach at Smitingen and then walked around the edge of the bay. Most of the rocks were completely free of snow and ice but occasional a frozen stream laid a ribbon of ice down, between the forest and the sea. JH and HarlingDarling.provided the human interest in this shot.
Looking back towards the beach (extra) it looked as if it was summer. You need to look very carefully to see the odd patches of snow and ice in that picture.
To say the rocks were "sun-warmed" would be an exaggeration but where the sun shone fully onto them they weren't icy cold either. HarlingDarling blipped JH and I sitting on the rocks while DH provided a long shadow.
