44 — Bread

Today's assignment from the book "Vision 365: Mastering the Everyday Practice of Seeing": photograph texture.

Big day, first one looking after Elowyn all day by myself as a stay at home dad (shared maternity leave). Lunch was a quick affair, a bowl of soup and some bread during one of babies 30 minute naps.

It’s a nice seeded loaf, which has an interesting texture to it, especially when viewed up close. I took some photos using the Olympus 60mm macro lens either at 1:1 or as a close-up and chose this one.
