SPOONBILL FLIGHT

There are around 15-20 Royal Spoonbill (Platalea regia) around the Christchurch Estuary and they had separated into singles and could be seen as dots of white over the estuary.  As I looked the other way I was reminded that 150 fire-fighters were still fighting the fires on the Port Hills
( see xtra) It reminded me of FIGHT or FLIGHT.
