Hoisted by my Own Petard

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. KG  and I made a pact not to make a big thing of it - after all we buy each other things all the time and don't need a special day to do so.  

Anyway yesterday I was teasing him and saying the roses haven't arrived yet knowing full well there wasn't go to be any.  I forgot all about the teasing and he went off to play bowls and got home about tennish.  He made some comment about have they come and had left a bunch in the porch.  I thanked him nicely and said I had only been teasing and he said I deserved them!!

We went to B&Q this morning to get some coving and Asda to  do some shopping.  Quite tired when I got back but did cook lunch.

Another wet grey day but it did start OK
