In the distance

A not too bad day today after torrential rain last night, a bit breezy but a visit from friend Doffy had us wrapping up & going down the beach for a bracing walk & blipathon.

We met some hardy types with rucksacks presumably doing the Anglesey Coastal path & a couple walking their dogs who wondered if we ever saw Wills & Kate walking down there! (No)
The seedheads of the grasses in the foreground are almost black in colour and make a swishy sound in the wind.
The tide was on the way out and the waves were breaking on the sandbank in the distance unusual in the bay as it's usually quite sheltered.
