Carrousel du Louvre

We visited the Louvre late this afternoon, after finding the line much too long for the Bauhaus exhibition at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs (we'll probably try tomorrow).  At the Louvre, we spent most of our time at the I section (mainly small medieval items),  we didn't recall ever having visited before; many wonderful things, above all medieval sculptures and panels in ivory. This blip is at the right-angle turn (at a small inverted pyramid) in the Carrousel du Louvre,  the long underground shopping mall leading to the museum from the Rue du Rivoli. I was leaving as dusk had fallen (hence the very dark blue sky, at 18:27).
