Tales

A morning of meetings, an afternoon at home with emails.

My blip had to be local therefore, and given the dullness of the sky the warm colours of the current reading pile drew me in.

Have actually finished the top title - the Snow Child - which was a gift from my folks. I loved the sense of place, snowy Alaska and the uncertainty about whether things were magical or real. Fairy-tale or just a tale. An achy sadness at the end, both the story and that sense when you close a book that the characters are now lost to you.
