Putting a Good Face On It

These trees came down in the last storm. Hauling them away doesn't seem like a priority, and someone's made the best of it.

Most of our roads in and out of the county are still impacted by storm damage. My son's co-worker left a little bit too late this morning and it took him 4 1/2 hours to make the roughly half hour commute over the main artery out of town. Traffic is horrendous because all the secret shortcuts have their own problems and cars are forced to all funnel into one lane around various major mudslides. More rain on tap for the next week. It's certainly an interesting winter.
