Ice Cream Treats

Back from our holiday-within-a-holiday in Eze a bit earlier than planned, as there was miserable rain all morning! Seems you can't even trust the weather in the south of France these days.

We took the less-than-perfect weather as a reason to catch up on a bit of apartment maintenance... had Pat the Irish joiner round to fix a shutter, hung some curtains, then wandered into town to buy a new toilet brush (oh the GLAMOUR of foreign home ownership!)

On the way back we stopped at one of the little ice cream parlours for a quick cooling treat. Coffee and vanilla for him; hazelnut and chocolate for her.
