Sitting in the rain

I like the sound of rain on an umbrella, in fact I like being out in the rain (in moderation) when it doesn't matter whether I get wet or not i.e. when I'm not on my way to work. 

I stayed up late last night so I could snipe a doctor's appointment on the online booking system when they became available at midnight. I was lucky and have been able to get to see one of the doctors I really like and trust in a couple of weeks time to discuss an autism referral.

Had a nice lie in and then went to the park and fed the birds and squirrels. The rain didn't put them or me off.

When I got home I plucked up courage and rang Specialist Autism Services in Bradford for some advice - spoke to a really nice lady. I find telephone conversations difficult but she was great, very helpful and she talked me through things. I picked up the phone feeling anxious and put down the phone feeling relieved and positive. Thank goodness for the people like her in this world.
