Loch Sunart

A side ways glance on the way to the site this morning had me fancying the look of that contorted wee tree for a photo.

On return I stopped and ventured down the slippery shore with camera in hand. The low tide gave a different perspective to the shore line and it proved impossible (for me in the few minutes I was there) to get a view point which could both convey the true twisted leaning profile of the weather beaten plant and show it in its sea loch environment.

You need to imagine this picture with the tide in. Despite difficulty seeing the loch there was plenty of water pouring out of the sky.
