Arthur’s Seat

It was a glorious winter’s morning so we decided to go to Holyrood Park and walk up Arthur’s Seat, We parked near St Margaret’s loch and went up to St Antony’s Chapel before going up the Lang Rig and then to the top. The blip shows the chapel and the top silhouetted from St Margaret’s Loch. We then went down to Hunter’s Bog and up along Salisbury Crag and back to our starting point. The extra is from the top of the crags, looking towards the Castle; interestingly, it also shows ripple marks in the sandstone, just above the dolerite that make up the crags.
