The Point

I thought I'd go to Shaldon today then halfway there I remembered that the bridge was closed (or open) for a few days. The bridge has an opening to let larger ships through but I gather it's not been opened for a decade but it sounds like the opening has to be maintained in case someone wants to use it, whether it's used or not.

Anyway, I carried on to Teignmouth and had a walk around The Point. The tide was just past its high point so this marker seemed to make a good focal point. It used to have a sign above it but it looks as if that's been carried away by a storm.
