Grey Seal

Still quiet up at the RSPB Birsay Moors hide- the usual small numbers of goldeneye, mallard, teal, tufted duck and greylags. Nice to hear my first singing skylark of the year. Down at the shore, it was busier with flocks of curlew, oystercatcher and purple sandpiper wheeling in the bright sunlight. This seal thought about retreating into the sea on my appearance, decided it was too comfortable where it was.
