Shifting shades of purple

Purple Light

amethyst shades
of slanted sun
bathe my morning
in periwinkle hinted
soothing, shifting
lines all drenched
and dripped
in lavender light

The extra is the plant throwing a faint shadow in the upper left hand corner.  It's a Swedish Ivy that has been with me since my first apartment as an adult, 46 years. It's rooted from a slip cut from my mother's plant, one that I grew up with. The leaves make beautiful patterns when the upstairs  window sunlight illuminates them in our purple hallway.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny and warmer, lots of melting going on.

All hands worried
