Today we visited some of the art of Lanzarote's most famous artist.

The image is of the Monument al Campesino  (the peasant's monument), designed by Manrique to remember the farmers of the island who created the Lanzarote landscape. The monument was constructed using recycled water containers, in keeping with Manrique's philosophy
