Sun and Shadow

It was grey and cloudy at Spey Bay this afternoon. (And COLD and WINDY - which it always seems to be there, no matter how mild the weather is everywhere else!)

We'd taken our guest to see the seals at Portgordon, and the little blighters once again preferred to stay in the water rather than sprawl on the rocks so she only got to see numerous (admittedly very cute) noses sticking up from the sea. So we went on to Spey Bay in the hope we might get lucky and see the dolphins, but no joy. However, as we stood on the beach getting chilled and windblown, the clouds behind us parted and for a few minutes we had lovely sunshine on the shingle.
