Amaryllis

Strictly speaking all praise is due to Mr Flum who, having seen it kicking around ever since I opted to buy it in Dobbies post-Christmas sale, became impatient with my constant promises to get round to dealing with it, and decided to just open the box and plant the thing.
There are four enormous blooms of brilliant red and another bud rapidly maturing so another good show is guaranteed, and all for a nominal sum and very little effort (especially on my part). 
Ain't nature (and long-suffering husbands) wonderful!
