Torness

We set about getting ourselves back into the Citizen Science thing we signed up to last year, Capturing our Coast. A couple of weeks ago we'd noted the rocks on a walk near Torness (in the distance here) could be a decent location for some surveys. Certainly proved to be the case. Especially if you like Hermit Crabs.

Not stopped for much of the day, which started with our local Kingfisher in the extra, and buying a copy of the Herald that had one of my cyclocross pictures in it ahead of the last even of the season. If you happen to be bored on the 19th around 1.30pm, give the Dig In at the Dock page on Facebook a like, and you'll get to watch the A Race live, as filmed and commentated on by me (assuming the tech holds up).

Should really get some sleep - early alarm call to get out to Bo'ness to help with some of the setting up.
