Great day

Headed into town early doors to meet Craig for a catchup. The idea was to check a donut shop up near the Meadows but it was shut. Still we had some decent coffees, popped into Lupe Pintos and did some galleries before he had to head off.

After that I popped into Dodo's work for some more coffee then headed for a big bowl of Pho before going up to stills. On route I bumped into another pal who was doing projection work on the side of the National Gallery to promote the launch of the fundraising campaign which will hopefully allow them to purchase the Monarch of the Glen from Diageo.

At stills it was the launch of a show of some of the works in David Eustace;s private collection which are photos by other artists and friends of his. Some wonderful images in there and well worth viewing while it;s on. I caught up with Abi and Brian, and Aimie and Gav up there as well as Suzanne.

Then it was on to Ewan and Emiliya's housewarming at their lovely new home. I was taking it easy on the drink as I was on duty in the morning, but some great chat.

All in all it was a great day off.
