Crocuses

Spied these little crocuses growing by the side of the railway line. There aren't many areas there where there is no rubbish, empty bottles, cans, take away dishes etc but these wee flowers were just nestling among the fallen leaves.

I tried to apply for a new driving licence this afternoon .... on line was the best way the letter said but it didn't say anything about limited time to complete the application.  I had everything I needed right beside me but I was obviously too slow. Application failed. I was just starting again when a friend came to the door ... this attempt was aborted. I shall try again tomorrow ..... leaving the phone off the hook and putting my mobile on silent.
