Wicker Worker in Camacha

We saw him later on a float at the Santana Carnival.

The Carnival was fun. It rained. We drank poncha. We stood in awe of the espatada (fortunately, or unfortunately we had already eaten). We laughed at the children in the parade. Their expressions ranged from excited to scared, to bored, to "I'd rather be playing on my phone" to "Are we there yet?". There was a direct correlation between the expressions and the ages and genders of the under 18 participants.

We wanted to go to a sushi place for dinner, but couldn't find it so we ended up in a nice little restaurant. The owner/manager was a typical salesman, who was very friendly when we arrived, but later was so involved in a conversation with two single woman (one with a 80's hairstyle and the other looking like a Melania Trump wannbe) that he ignored the rest of the patrons for most of the evening.
