Mussel demonstration

Today for dinner the boys had a special treat - Mussels!

CJ and S2 love them, and today they shared with LJ. However, after LJ tried to eat the shell, CJ decided it was best to demonstrate the perfect mussel eating technique.

And the result, LJ isn't to sure about them. The NZ green-lipped mussels are a lot bigger (and harder for the boys to eat) than the ones we used to get in Scotland, so it may be a few years before LJ really knows if he likes them or not.
