Murder most horrid

Apologies for the total lack of commenting but my head is not my own.

Our dominant male blackbird is no more, it was "sparrowhawked" this morning.  You don't need the details.

We no longer have any pets but this little spider decided to use me as a shortcut to goodness knows where this morning, and as it's so cute I thought it would do for the Mono Monday Challenge.
