Escargots for Lunch

This is the second time I've found a solitary gull looking for food on Grays Beach.  This one happens to be eating snails at the water's edge.  Last time the gull was dropping clams onto the rocks from about 20 feet up.  He would then swoop down and grab the clam meat.  As a result, the beach is littered with shells of all sorts.

I'm looking forward to hosting Tiny Tuesday again this week!  Your images have been so much fun to review.  Please use the tag TT91.
