I Did It!

We took the girls over  to Born in the Borders to try out the grass-sledging run there.  They hauled their sledges up the slope (with a bit of help from the grown-ups), got on and came whizzing down. 

Iz was yelling with delight, C looked absolutely stunned - she sat quite still at the bottom for a full five seconds and then burst into tears!

But she's a little toughie - she went about a third of the way up and came down again, much slower of course, and then each time she went a little further, till eventually she was at the top and racing down with glee and abandon. As you can see from the look on her face!
