Fluffy!!

As today's MM challenge is love your pet......I thought I would share this shot of one of the many birds and ducks that I love to photograph, could consider my pets (OMG, I'm sounding like Mum :-) since we do not have a pet of our own. This is one of the ducks around our little lake at home, looking rather lovely in the bright light.

Slept ok, woke up at 5, 6, and 7 but eventually got up around 9 :-) The weather bright early on, but by the time we stepped out again it had started to rain, so a brolly was necessary. We struggled to hold on to it at times, it was so windy! by the time we'd walked into town, we were soaked, so of course we had to pop into the cafe for coffee and panini for lunch ;-)

By the time we dried off and walked home the weather was fine.....we spent the afternoon getting stuff down from the loft. We had 12 bin liners full of little girls clothes, all like new, some not used at all! Ive sorted out 5 bags, just 7 more to go! Our local charity shop,is going to love us :-)

We've had homemade chicken, ham and mushroom pot pies, with roasted veg for dinner, followed by a mixture of pomegranate seeds, apricots and raisins, crushed hazelnuts with a bit of chocolate Ice cream, a bit random I know, but was lovely :-)
