Love Your (almost) Pet

In a real piece of life imitating art, we had a stroke of luck with Mono Monday today. The theme is "Love Your Pet", and unfortunately we haven't had an actual pet since the beautiful Yogi died last July.

Thankfully fate and the Blue Cross came to the rescue, because today was the day I (Annie) had an appointment to see our possible future pet at his foster home.

So meet Leonard (the jury's out on whether the name is staying...). All being well, he'll be coming to live with us next Sunday. He's a bit jumpy and cautious, but once he's more sure of you he's a total softy.

So we reserve the right to be a little in love with our (almost) pet already.
