History remade

Straight out of the 1930s this old machine light originally came out of a shoe factory in Northampton, and via a salvage yard found its way to dads workshop and illuminated the valve refacing machine until that moved 20 years ago then illuminated the shelf , then was forgotten about until recently when I brushed off the cobwebs, unscrewed him from the ceiling of the workshop cleaned him leaving the patina oiled the cogs rewired the round pinned plug and replaced the wiring , and made a stand from a random found bit of wood and now he sits on my workbench ready to illuminate many a madcap project !!

Life is all about the things that pass on through history ... loving the vintage !!
