summer's end

It's chilly this morning, but beautiful all the same. Walking back from seeing Youngest Son onto the school bus, I stopped at the end of the drive to blip this lovely foxglove.My hands are cold..when did that happen last? Thinking autumnal now...gloves, hot water bottles, lighting the woodburning stove, getting my knitting out again...It's not all bad. But looking forward to some sunshine today, and a clear night for the Blue Moon ( next one in July 2015).
