Squash court. Illegal glow lines?

Alright, folks. Help me out here. I was strongly encouraged to post this image, but I'm not sure whether it violates some standard (my own? blips?).

In this picture, I boosted the mid-range, and because of the light in the original, only the red hues got bumped, making the red lines in the court seem to glow like this. What I like about this is that it flattens the space, plus it is weird. What I don't like about it is that it bothers my photographic conscience.
