The Beehive

Went for another glorious walk today.  Last week I had passed this huge gum tree in Cussen Park and at the time was very taken then with the texture of the gnarled trunk.  I returned t it today and realised that there must be a beehive inside the divide in its limbs.  I liked the fact that many bees were just in silhouette except the one or two caught by the sun.  The extra I have to show you because, while not a great shot, the pollen sacs on the legs really stand out. Tiny enough, I think.
