It looked such a lovely day outside I took the chance to get out around lunchtime. I parked at Whatstandwell station to go over the bridge and walk the canal that runs parallel to the rail line.

I got distracted when I saw a couple of passengers waiting for the local Matlock to Derby train. The lady driver got out to check everyone was on board and the doors were closed before driving off. It seemed simple not sure what all the fuss on Southern railways is all about, I feel sorry for those commuters.
