Bonding

Today, my favorite outdoor pet sat within 10 inches me and the the camera and calmly ate while I took photos.  He spent about three minutes eating, then looked directly in my eyes, turned his head a little to the side (maybe his way of thanking me???), and then ran off.  This was taken with 105MM macro lens and is straight out of the camera (no cropping).  

BTW - My dogs were watching all of this from inside and were not too happy that they could not join in the fun!
