Halcyon Flotsam

It was quite windy last night, so much so that a boat that had been anchored in the harbor the past two years washed up on Playa La Ropa. The beached boat was the center of much activity this morning, some people cleaning up the flotsam (some of which is shown here) and many other taking photos of the carnage. I only had my underwater camera handy, even though I knew there was a shipwreck, and managed to grab a few quick photos. Fellow blippers, RaspberryJefe and Hedgehouse were much more on top of things and captured better images. Ironically Playa La Ropa originally was named because of a shipwreck that caused a great deal of clothing to wash ashore.
