Royal Visitor

The only photo I took today was one for a colleague of a newspaper cutting. I had received an email asking if I knew the exact date that the Queen visited the castle. Out came my bundle of news cuttings that a dear friend had given me when she knew she wouldn't be around for long. It didn't take long, she came in March 1981 and I photographed a couple of relevant pieces to send off to my colleague who is writing a talk on the Monarchy at the castle.

I also attended a meeting that showed us the initial draft for the new surround sound and vision experience called Battle for the Skies. It was fabulous, it felt like the Spitfires were overhead and I learnt quite a bit too!
