Strip district

Today I was given the day off work because my boss wasn't in town and there was no work I could be doing. I made use of the day by taking a long bus journey to the Strip District, an area known for its delis, restaurants, and foreign food items. I allowed myself a $10 dollar budget for lunch to see what I could find. I managed to have 2 types of sushi (a Philadelphia roll and another roll invented by the sushi man Andy), a chicken taco with all the trimmings from outside a Mexican grocery stall and a mini cinnamon donut fresh from the fryer. Not bad on a budget! I spent a few hours exploring the graffitied alleyways and second hand shops before heading home.
