Snow on the rails

No, not an excuse for a delayed train, but an early Blip of wet snow on the steps up to our deck. I went out in the snow in my PJs - OK, with a coat on too -  to move the car down the steep drive just in case the snow got worse. We can park it at road level beside our garage and walk back up the steps to the house.

The snow on the car was thick and wet but not freezing, fortunately. When I looked out of the bedroom window later I rather liked the effect of the snow on the wooden railings - quite artistic, I thought! So here's my little bit of morning art for you!
