Glass half full :-)

Thanks to Storm Doris, tonight's interim Bookfestival event 'Children's Books: the stories that shape us' was cancelled.  I was disappointed as had been looking forward to it.

BUT: Happily this meant I had a spontaneous meet up in the pub with friends. 

Doris also had a significant impact on Ben's travel arrangements this evening. He has spent the last two days visiting Leeds and then Sheffield University checking out the Geography courses, but spent 5+ hours tonight getting the 120 miles home, thanks to cancelled trains.

However, it has given him good information on the choices he soon has to make and so was very worthwhile.
