A Sense of Place: You are Here
A very busy day:
At noon meet two friends from Cambridgeshire and one from Cupar at the Scottish National Gallery.
Go to Henderson's Bistro for a vegan lunch
Visit Flying Tiger shop and the maps exhibition at the Scottish National Library
Look at expensive merchandise in Anthropologie and shop at Paperchase
Walk to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Modern Two) for the Joan Eardley exhibition and special shopping evening
Walk to Haymarket for their train (to Cupar) and my bus
We had had an invitation from Modern Two. Join us for a special shopping evening with a complimentary drink, live music and a chance to view our exhibition Joan Eardley: A Sense of Place, after hours, for free. Don't miss your chance to attend as spaces are limited. Tickets are £5 and redeemable against purchases in the shop on the night. The first 50 purchases over £10 will receive a galleries goody bag.
I had been intending to go to the exhibition anyway, though probably not on a snowy day. I had not expected to go to the maps exhibition and shall go again to study it in more detail. And that was my first vegan meal. It was pleasant, especially my Freekeh salad with kale, butternut squash, pear, grapes, almond flakes & cumin-maple dressing
But now I am tired!
