Astigmatism

a photo lens works like the human eye; and since today it is confirmed that my daughter's eyes are in fact constantly out of focus, probably since she was born, she must not know better than a blurry world. The odd thing is that it went quite unnoticed apart from some lack of concentration, but we did not make the link with eyesight up till now.

It is quite a severe astigmatism that will be corrected with glasses. Here she is with artificially enlarged pupils (by eyedrops) ready to go to the ophthalmologist for testing

Tomorrow to the optician and next week we will have the glasses. The world will probably look completely different for her.
