Verdant

We ventured out today - in the teeth of Storm Doris - to Dundee to visit the Verdant Works museum.

It's a jute factory, preserved as a museum to show that aspect of the city's heritage. We both enjoyed it - neither of us has any connection with the city and so even I know little of its history.

Perhaps because of the angle of attack (from the northwest I believe) this southeast corner missed the worst of the storm and some wet snow was all we had to deal with.
