Checking the score

I drove a team of partially sighted bowlers to Aberdeen for a competition.

They play remarkably well, using a guide string to get the direction to the jack. A few had small telescopes to see the other end of the green, but most relied on positions called out. "Three feet at five o'clock", "Jack moved back a foot, six inches to the left of the line", etc.
