Mrs. Blackbird

She was perched on the fence at the bottom of my garden, her feathers look a bit worse for wear. It must have been difficult for the birds yesterday with Storm Doris battering us.

There weren't many birds around today. I spotted one of next door's cats in the tree in my garden and another sitting below it. Unfortunately the water pistol wouldn't quite reach them from the house but it did send them off. There could well be a connection between the cats and lack of birds.
