model rail show weekend 2017

of the many wonderful layouts this excited me the most "Burntisland 1883" the blip is of part of the port operations with in the foreground a model of the "Flying Bridge" and train ferry "Carrier" This the world's first train ferry ran from 1850 to 1890 between Burntisland and Granton when the Forth Bridge made it redundant
xtra 1 is after coal trucks have been cable loaded from the bridge onto the ferry the whole operation was fascinating to all us onlookers
nearly everything in this massive layout was handbuilt including boats, locos and wagons, buildings and railway tracks
xtra 2 love to see the concentration of the operator when moving locos
